He told that after the completion of the tour, Dev Junga will be made to enter his temple which is called Bhadhatar. He told that during the Dev Yatra, people are flocking to every village to seek the blessings of Lord Junga.
Durga Singh Thakur said that according to tradition, the Yatra of deity Junga is taken out after four years from time to time, but this time due to the renovation of the temple and the mourning of the death of the then King Veer Vikram Sen of Keonthal state, this Devyatra has been taken out after seven years. Before starting this journey, permission has been taken from the present King Khush Vikram Sen and Queen Mother Vijay Jyoti Sen of the then Keonthal princely state. He told that for the successful organization of this Dev Yatra, the recommendation and cooperation of the deity’s eldest son, Parihar descendants and other welfare officers has been taken. He told that during the Yatra, provision has been made for Dev Puja at about 27 places in which people invite the deity to their homes to fulfill their wish, in which some people will organize Pajavaj, Hom, Barmujh, Jagre etc. He told that the purpose of this Dev Yatra is to visit the house of the deity Junga residing in Shimla and Solan districts for the welfare of the deities and to fulfill the deity work by visiting them. Told that this journey is likely to be completed by the end of March.
