On the occasion of the birthday of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Congress leaders, workers, and common people reached Oakover in large numbers to congratulate him. Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, ministers, MLAs, Congress party officials, and thousands of people greeted Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on his birthday and wished him a long life. During this, the supporters danced a lot.

Talking to journalists on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that six Congress rebels getting BJP tickets prove that BJP had done horse trading in Himachal Pradesh. He said that Himachal Pradesh is the land of Gods and Goddesses and horse trading has taken place for the first time in the history of the state. He said that the people of Himachal Pradesh do not accept this kind of tradition of horse-trading. The rebel leaders contested the elections from the Congress Party and the public made them victorious, but these leaders were sold out and betrayed the same public. He said that this is a fight for justice and the people of Himachal Pradesh will give its answer on June 1. He said that struggle has been a part of his life and he has always achieved success by facing political challenges boldly. But the sad thing is that BJP has tried to grab power through money power. He said that from April, he will tour the entire state to campaign for the Congress Party and will take the facts among the people.

In response to a question, Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government has set a target of making Himachal Pradesh a self-reliant state by the year 2027 and the most prosperous state of the country by the year 2032 and the present state government is working in this direction. He said that Congress Party respects women, that is why Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi has been started to provide Rs 1500 per month to women. He said that by closing the doors of corruption, the state’s revenue increased by Rs 2200 crore in the financial year due to which schemes are being made for public welfare.

After this, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also participated in the blood donation camp organized by NSUI at the Ridge Ground.
