A camp for senior citizens will be organised in Junga on September 22

A free eye check-up camp for senior citizens is being organised on September 22 at Civil Hospital Junga under the joint aegis of Social Justice and Empowerment Department Shimla and Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti Karai Chaupal. In this camp, eye specialists from renowned hospitals will examine the eyes of senior citizens. If cataract is found in the eyes of any senior citizen during the check-up, then free operations will be done in the next camp.
He stated that all senior citizens attending the camp must bring their Aadhaar card, PAN card, or voter ID card to register. He urged village panchayat representatives, women’s groups, and all self-help groups in the Junga area to widely publicize the camp in their areas so that seniors can benefit from it.
