91884 Electoral to exercise their franchise in Arki Assy constituency – DC
A total of 91884 voters will exercise their franchise in the by-election to be held on October 30, 2021 in the 50-Arki assembly constituency of the district.
This information was given by District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Solan Kritika Kulhari here today.
Kritika Kulhari said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, all the preparations for the bye-election have been completed.
For all the 132 polling stations in Arki constituency, the voter parties have reached the designated polling station.
The District Election Officer said that out of total 91884 voters in the by-election to be held on October 30, 46483 are male and 45401 female voters. Of these, 1773 voters are above 80 years of age.
Out off the total voters, 15 voters are above 100 years of age while the total number of voters in the age group of 90 to 99 years is 224.
The total number of voters between 80 to 89 years is 1534. Out of the total electors in the 50-Arki constituency, 908 are Divyang voters.
He said that the polling time has been fixed from 0800hrs to 1800hrs.
Kritika Kulhari said that a total of 132 polling stations have been set up in Arki Assembly Constituency for free, fair voting.
As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India and as per the instructions of Kovid-19, 22 auxiliary polling stations have also been set up.
He said that Arki-I polling stations 50/61 and Batal-1 50/85 polling stations are ideal polling stations. He said that 50/62-Arki-II and 50/63 Arki-III polling stations in Arki constituency would be fully operated by women personnel.
He said that 05 polling stations were declared critical and 41 polling stations as vulnerable polling stations in Arki assembly constituency. 04 sector magistrates and 12 sector officers have been posted in the assembly constituency. 11 micro observers have also been deployed.
The District Election Officer said that before the commencement of voting for the bye-election, the mock poll would also be conducted following all the rules as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India.
Appropriate guidelines have been issued in this regard
