8.46 lakh educated youth enrolled as unemployed in HP, State provides employment to 28661

Himachal Pradesh Government informed the house on Monday that number of registered unemployed educated youth increased to 8,46209 and 28661 employment avenue were provided in the state in year 2018 and 2019 
This was stated by the Industry Minister Bikram Singh Thakur in a written reply to a query raised by Congressmembers Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Mukesh Agnihotri and Vikaramaditya Singh during the question hours.
Minister said that as many as 8,46209 unemployed educated youth enrolled them in different employment exchanges till Jan 31 , 2021. There are 4,04,819 unemployed youth who are qualified upto Ten Plus two, 1,95548 are matraculate, 1, 36517 are graduate, 76, 318 post graduate and 33,007 under matericulate respectively.
Out of 28661 people who got employment under the Jai Ram Govt in the year 2018 and 2019 include Jai Ram Government could provide employment to 3109 on the regular basis , 17390 on the contract basis 7747 on the outsource basis and 415 on the daily wages basis, minister added.
