500 children were given Albendazole medicine to kill worms

On the occasion of National Deworming Day, 500 children were given Albendazole medicine to kill stomach worms in ten schools and Anganwadi centers of Peeran Panchayat in the remote area of ​​Mashobra block. ASHA worker Bela Verma said that this medicine was given to children in the age group of 1 to 19 years by visiting every school and Anganwadi center of the Panchayat. In which Albendazole medicine was given to children in Government Senior Secondary School Peeran, Primary School Nalta and Gania, High School Dhali and Middle School Trahai, besides five Anganwadi centers. She said that the children who were deprived of taking Albendazole medicine in this campaign will be given the medicine by going door to door on 27 February.
Bela Verma said that due to worms in the stomach, children become victims of anemia, which prevents physical and mental development of children. Due to which children always remain tired. On this occasion, she advised the children to take a balanced diet and do yoga and exercise to make the body healthy and disease free.
