4 laborer die in an Excavator mishap

Including an operator of Public Works Department JCB, Four labourer killed and three others injured when an Excavators fell down in a deep gorge at Groha village of Grampanchayat Mohni of Banjar Subdivision in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh this morning.

Superintendent of police Kullu Gurdev Singh said that a team of Police station Banjar rushed to the spot and evecuated the injured and deceased.

He said that while going to a construction site the executator operators gave lift to five persons but the heavy mechine suddenly lost balance in a narrow passage vand fell down in 500 meter gorge.

Three Injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Banjar in 108 ambulance who are under treatment.

He said that four persons were killed in the mishap All these people are labourers of PWD. All the employees were going to work in the morning.

Local people and the police team have gathered in the rescue operation of this accident.

Mr Gurdev Singh said that the police team is taking out the dead bodies at the spot.

Hee said that the police will investigate the incident after registering a case.
