25th January is a lucky day for Himachal Pradesh: Bindal

25th January is a lucky day for Himachal Pradesh on which the state got the status of a full state. Many congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on this auspicious day.
It is a matter of great joy that Himachal is continuously moving on the path of development. Development of education, development of health, development of drinking water facilities, development of roads, development of electricity, development of basic facilities, Himachal Pradesh has made promising progress in all these matters. Despite the hilly state, difficult life, remote villages, and adverse weather conditions, agriculture, horticulture, and livestock have developed as expected. The first Chief Minister of the state, Himachal producer Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar ji determined the direction of development of the state. After that, as Chief Minister, Late Shri Ramlal Thakur ji, Late Shri Virbhadra Singh ji, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal ji, Shri Shanta Kumar ji, and Shri Jairam Thakur ji made capable efforts to take the state forward during their respective tenures. During his tenure, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal ji was known as the Chief Minister of roads, Shri Shanta Kumar ji was known as the Chief Minister of water and Shri Jairam Thakur ji was known as the Chief Minister who carried forward the works related to service.
Today, due to some specific schemes, the state seems to be progressing at a fast pace. Decades ago, there used to be a question of whether Lahaul, a remote area of Himachal, could ever be connected through a tunnel. That dream was fulfilled because of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji and the efforts of Shri Narendra Bhai Modi ji and Atal Tunnel Rohtang was inaugurated by Modi ji, which brought prosperity to the area up to Ladakh.
The four-lane highway being built from Kiratpur to Manali looks like a wonder of the world. Where by cutting the chest of the mountains and making many kilometers long tunnels, by building long bridges over Govind Sagar, the distances in the mountains were closed. This is becoming possible only and only because of the efforts of Shri Narendra Bhai Modi. The path that never seems to end seems to be reaching its goal as soon as it begins. This is the changing Himachal. The entire scenario of Himachal Pradesh is going to change once the construction of the Kalak-Shimla-Dhali Fourlane National Highway, Pinjore-Nalagarh Fourlane National Highway, Kiratpur-Manali Fourlane National Highway, Pathankot-Mandi Fourlane National Highway and Kangra-Shimla Fourlane National Highway is completed. Where the distance of days will be decided in hours and the distance of hours will be decided in minutes. Approximately Rs 42000 crore is being spent by the Central Government led by Shri Narendra Bhai Modi on the construction of these four-lane national highways. Not only this, the survey for the construction of four-lane national highways in Dehradun-Paonta Sahib, Chandigarh-Kalaam-Nahan, Kumarhatti-Nahan-Do-Sadaka is being conducted by the Modi government at the Centre. To connect this network of roads to the villages, the work of connecting every village is going on by providing funds to Himachal Pradesh through Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana by the Centre.
Roads are the destiny lines of Himachal, there is no doubt about it, but the seemingly impossible railway expansion has also started taking root in Himachal. Una railway line is seen expanding and reaching Bilaspur and the time is about to come when the railway line to Leh-Ladakh will become a reality. The entry of the Vande Bharat train in Himachal has opened a new path.
Infrastructure expansion will develop the new Himachal. Once again hearty congratulations on Complete State Day.
