21 boys selected from Hamirpur for Bharat Darshan: Anurag
The list of 21 boys selected for the second phase of Sansad Bharat Darshan, a popular initiative of Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur, has been declared. Sansad Bharat Darshan is an educational tour organized free of cost by Anurag Singh Thakur for the meritorious and outstanding students of Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency. Anurag Thakur has taken this journey to 101 children in the last 5 years, and now from October 25 to November 1, the Sansad Bharat Darshan Yatra is being organized for the selected 21 boys. Along with Delhi darshan, the group will exclusively visit Gujarat.
Along with 21 students, 2 ‘best among’ teachers have also been selected. ‘Ek Se Shrestha’ is an initiative of Anurag Singh Thakur, under which children are given free education and all the necessary education materials like school bags, study tables, stationery are given free of cost. At present, 475 centers are running in the parliamentary constituency, through which women have got employment opportunities and more than 9000 students are also getting better education. Protein milk shake is also given to the children daily in the centers and work is being done to provide modern education to the children through digital equipment like laptops and learning kits. While Anurag Thakur has given the slogan for ‘Ek Se Shrestha’, ‘Our resolution is our effort, education for all, development for all’, for the Sansad Bharat Darshan organized for students, he has given the slogan ‘Thodi Padhi Thodi Ghumai’.
Students are selected through a competitive process. For MP Bharat Darshan Yatra 2023, children who have passed 12th in 2021, 2022 or 2023 and have performed exceptionally in the fields of studies/sports/arts etc. could apply online. Students are selected only after written application, test and interview. Anurag Thakur’s Bharat Darshan Yatra is so famous among the residents of Hamirpur parliamentary constituency that children make it their goal during their school days.
Before this, Bharat Darshan Yatra was organized in August for 21 daughters from the parliamentary constituency. The daughters had the privilege of meeting the Honorable Vice President, Lok Sabha Speaker, Finance Minister and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Honorable Yogi Adityanath ji. In the Vande Bharat train, the daughters were given a special felicitation by the Indian Railways. During the trip, the daughters had grand religious experiences like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Ganga Ghat Cruise Aarti. Academic institutions like IIM Lucknow, Banaras Hindu University, administrative places like Parliament House, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Territorial Army were visited by the group. The administration had also shown the Taj Mahal to the group before sunrise by making special arrangements.
