14 Counting observer appointed for byelection counting

Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh, C. Palrasu informed that counting observers have been appointed in view of the bye-elections of Mandi Lok Sabha constituency and Fatehpur, Arki and Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly constituencies.
He informed that 11 counting observers have been deployed for the bye-election of Mandi Lok Sabha constituency. 
 The Chief Electoral Officer said that under the bye-election-2021, the voting would be conducted on October 30, 2021 and the date of November 2, 2021 has been fixed for the counting of votes.
In addition, three counting observers have been deployed for the by-elections of Fatehpur, Arki and Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly constituencies.  The general observers posted in these three assembly constituencies have also been given the responsibility of counting observers.

 To complete the counting of votes, 125 counting tables and 19 tables of Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer will be installed in various counting centers set up in Mandi parliamentary constituency.  
For the counting of votes of Fatehpur Assembly Constituency, 10 counting tables and two tables of Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer will be installed.  10 counting tables and two tables of Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer would be installed in the counting centers of Arki assembly constituency and 7 counting tables and two tables of Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer will be set up for the counting of votes of Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly constituency.  .

 He said that necessary guidelines have been issued to all the concerned District Election Officers and Assistant Election Officers to complete all the preparations in a time bound manner for the smooth conduct of the counting work.
