12,500 children in Mashobra block will be given two drops of life

 On National Immunization Day, December 21st, 12,500 children will be administered Pulse Polio drops at the Mashobra Medical Block. All necessary arrangements have been completed for this. Block Medical Officer, Mashobra, Dr. Sanjay Ranaut, stated that there are approximately 12,500 children aged 0 to 05 years in the rural areas of the Mashobra Medical Block. 130 Pulse Polio booths will be set up to administer them. To make this campaign a success, 502 employees will be employed, including Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, Chief Medical Officers (CHOs), health workers, and Ayurveda department employees, ensuring that no child is deprived of the Pulse Polio drops. ITBP personnel will also provide support in this campaign.
Dr. Sanjay Ranaut informed that four transit and four mobile teams have been formed to administer Pulse Polio vaccine at various bus stands, slums and various barriers on the block’s border so that the medicine can be administered to small children travelling in buses and living in slums of Kasumpti and Mahli. He informed that complete arrangements have been made for deep freezer, cold box and carrier, ice cubes etc. for Pulse Polio vaccine so that this national program can be made successful.
He has requested all the Panchayat Pradhans, Women and Youth Organizations, Self Help Groups and all the parents to give their constructive cooperation in making this program successful and the families having children in the age group of 0 to 5 years should compulsorily take them to their nearest polio booth on 21st December and administer the medicine.
