Nisha Thakur of Manali crowned as Winter Queen Manali 2024
Nisha Thakur from Manali clinched the Winter Queen Manali-2024 title, earning the prestigious Sharad Sundari-2024 crown in the national-level Winter Carnival competition. She emerged victorious after outshining 15 contestants in the final round. Kohinoor from Shimla secured the first runner-up position, with Bhavya Pandit from Manali claiming the second runner-up spot. The competition featured a catwalk in the first round, followed by direct interaction with judges in the second round, showcasing the contestants’ confidence. Nisha Thakur’s triumph in the final round solidified her as Sharad Sundari-2024.
The coveted Sharad Sundari received a cash prize of Rs 100,000, along with a trophy, marking a first where all 27 participants were recognized in the second round. The first runner-up received Rs 50,000, and the second runner-up received Rs 30,000. Manali MLA Bhuvaneshwar Gaur extended congratulations to all participants for their commendable efforts.
Lakshmi emerged as the Voice of Winter Carnival during the event, with Kunal Sood securing the first runner-up position and Harish Thakur claiming the second runner-up title.
