Monsoon rains lashed part of Himachal Pradesh

South West Monsoon System currently confined to only few places of Himachal Pradesh lashed some places in last 24hrs, The Met Office said.
Bhattiyat of Chamba had 90 mm rain, Dharmshala in Kangra 58.6 mm, Sarkaghat in Mandi 43 mm, Palampur in Kangra and Kasol in Kullu 40 mm, Jogindernagar in Mandi 34 mm, Sundernagar 39.4 mm, Bajaura in Kullu 26.5 mm, Mandi 26 mm, Dalhousie in Chamba 24 mm, Salooni 21.2 mm and Renuka and Dadahu in Sirmuar 20 mm.
Maximum temperature of Una was 39.4 degrees Celsius,Kangra 35.2 degrees, Bilaspur 35 degress, Hamirpur 34.8 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu and Sundernagar in Mandi 33.4 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 31 degrees.
Chamba and Solan  32  degrees each, Dharmshala in Kangra 28  degrees, Shimla 25.4 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnuar 25.6 degrees, Dalhousie and Keylong in Lahaul Spiti 22 degrees respectively.
Met Office forecast that south west moonson likely to remain dormant in next 24 hrs and. Rain and thunder showers likely to occur at few places in the mid and foothills of the state.
