Flash Flood after heavy rainfall washes away a truck and cow shed in Kullu district

South West Monsoon wreaked havoc in the Amar bagh and Nither area of Kulludistrict as a truck washed away and cow died after completely damaging  a cowshed.
State Disaster Management Authority said in a press release issued here today that heavy rainfallin Kullu district wreaked havoc heavy rainfall recorded last night in Amar Bagh & Nither area of Kullu district and its cascading effected retaining walls of some of houses has been collapsed.
One cowshed completely damaged in which one cow died and One Tipper (Truck) damaged completely.The Tehsildar and Patwari are visiting the spot to access the loss caused by the heavy rain and flashfloodin the affected area.
 Palampur got 53 mm rainfall in Kangra district, tourist resort Manali 37 mm and Bhuntar in Kullu 33 mm .The Met Office given orange warning of heavy rain at Hamirpur, Bhoranj, Sujanpur and Nadaun,  KangraDehra. Amb, Bangana , Haroli and Gagret of Una district in next 24 hrs.
