Rs. 385.21 crore GST collection made in November 2021in Himachal

A Spokesperson of Excise and Taxation said here today that the GST collections in November, 2021 stands at Rs. 385.21 crores in comparison to Rs. 329.64 crores in November, 2020 registering a growth of 17 percent. The cumulative GST collections in current financial year upto November, 2021 stands at Rs. 2815.53 crores vis-a-vis Rs. 2023.70 crores during the same period of last financial year which is 39 percent more than last financial year. It is worth mentioning that State GST revenues have continuously registered a positive growth in current financial year. Some of the important factors for maintaining the positive growth rate are monitoring of top taxpayers, performance monitoring of field functionaries, effective enforcement activities by the department, physical verifications of e-way bills, increased economic activities etc.
