HIM MSME Fest 2026: Opening Doors for Entrepreneurs in Himachal
Shimla is all set to host HIM MSME Fest 2026 from January 3 to 5, bringing together start-ups, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and leading e-commerce giants under one roof. More than just an event, it’s a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and opportunity for Himachal’s entrepreneurs.
A Platform for Growth
- Local businesses will showcase their products, meet buyers and investors, and connect with MSME partners.
- Special focus on linking enterprises with e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Walmart, ONDC, and GI-tagged marketplaces to help them reach customers far beyond the state.
Inclusive Development
- The fest highlights women entrepreneurship, investment facilitation, and enterprise promotion.
- The Chief Minister will inaugurate the event alongside the Industries Minister, with senior officials from the Ministry of MSME, NITI Aayog, and DPIIT also joining.
Culture Meets Commerce
- Startup Awards Ceremony will recognize innovation and talent.
- A cultural evening will showcase Himachal’s rich heritage, including performances by local artists.
- Handmade shawls and locally manufactured products will be on display at factory outlets and exhibition stalls.
Focus Sectors for the Future
- Green mobility, defence, pharmaceuticals, dairy, food processing, artificial intelligence, electronic chips, and data centres have been identified as priority areas.
- Industry leaders will discuss fresh investment opportunities and the upcoming industrial policy.
Knowledge & Networking
- Thematic sessions on start-up promotion, women entrepreneurship, and buyer-seller interactions under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative.
- CEO-level interactions with a delegation from the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
