State Congress President Vinay Kumar stated that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has violated the country’s Constitution and democracy. He, in collusion with the BJP, has deprived over 130 million voters of their right to vote in the name of SIR. Therefore, he has no moral right to remain in office. He should be charged with treason. He added that Rahul Gandhi is fighting to save democracy, but the BJP is unsuccessfully attempting to suppress his voice using the power of the BJP.
While talking to the journalists during the protest organized outside Lok Bhawan today against the arrest of senior Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and other leaders, Vinay Kumar said that Rahul Gandhi’s voice against vote theft cannot be suppressed. He strongly criticized the arrest of Congress leaders and said that today the Central Election Commission is working as a puppet of BJP. The democracy of the country is being weakened. The Constitution is being torn to shreds. He said that Congress is standing united against BJP under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. He said that in the state, Congress is going to launch a state-wide movement against vote theft and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Vinay Kumar stated that Rajni Patil, the All India Congress Committee’s state affairs in-charge, will be specially attending the protest in Una tomorrow. He added that in addition, Congress will hold massive protests against the BJP and the Central Election Commission in all districts of the state under the leadership of district presidents. Senior party leaders have been given important responsibilities for the successful organization of these protests.
