Police personnel launched a cleanliness drive with the message of Clean Junga-Beautiful Junga

With the message of Clean Junga-Beautiful Junga, the jawans of Himachal Pradesh First Police Armed Battalion launched a cleanliness drive in Junga in which officers and men of various ranks of the battalion actively participated in the campaign.
Commander Bhupendra Singh Negi said that a special cleanliness drive was launched in Junga to increase public awareness about cleanliness and a clean environment. During the drive, police personnel cleaned various places from Junga Bazaar, Civil Hospital, Government Senior Secondary School Junga to the First Armed Corps campus and cut the bushes that had grown during the rainy season. During this, along with keeping public places clean and beautiful, local people were also made aware about the importance of a clean environment.
Bhupendra Negi said that the battalion’s soldiers and staff interacted with local shopkeepers and the general public and advised them to keep dustbins at their shops to keep garbage. They then encouraged them to dispose of garbage at designated places, maintain cleanliness in public places, and keep their surroundings clean. He said that cleanliness should not be limited to campaigns only, but should be made an integral part of daily life.
Locals appreciated the efforts of the First Armed Corps and assured their cooperation in keeping the area clean and beautiful. Through this campaign, the police conveyed the message that cleanliness is not the responsibility of any one department or organization, but rather the collective responsibility of every citizen to build a healthy and clean society.
