Hindi Diwas Celebrations : Delhi Public School Shimla
Hindi Diwas celebrations were held with great enthusiasm and joy at Delhi Public School, Shimla. On this occasion, students effectively showcased the importance, richness, and glory of the Hindi language through various creative activities. As part of the celebration, students from grades I to VI enthusiastically participated in a slogan-writing activity. Through beautiful and meaningful slogans, the students expressed their love, respect, and pride for the Hindi language. Their creative thinking and enthusiasm brought the program to life.
A major highlight of the program was a captivating short play presented by the students. The play effectively highlighted the importance of the Hindi language and its relevance in our daily lives. Through their performances and dialogues, the students connected Hindi to our identity, culture, emotions, and mutual connections, conveying a message of respect for the language.
On this occasion, the school’s Principal, Ms. Veena Chauhan, addressed the students and shared her thoughts on the importance of the Hindi language. She encouraged them to maintain a sense of respect and pride for Hindi and to use it more often in their daily lives. Praising the students’ efforts, the Principal said that there is always room for further refinement in their presentation. She particularly emphasized the need to pay more attention to pronunciation. She encouraged the students, saying that their efforts are commendable and they should continue to move forward with the same enthusiasm.
This Hindi Diwas celebration further strengthened students’ sense of pride in the Hindi language, creative expression, and respect for their language and culture. The celebration inspired students to understand the importance of their mother tongue and embrace it in their daily lives.
