Baldeniya School became the best winner in the Under-19 student category

The four-day sports competition for the under-19 students of the Mashobra block concluded on Sunday at the Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat. Government Senior Secondary School, Baldeniya, was awarded the title of Best Winner School.
Retired Director, Medical Education and Research, Dr. Narendra Kaushik attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest, while Professor Manju Kaushik was present as the special guest.
School Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta welcomed the chief guest and special guest. He reported that during the four-day competition, 376 student athletes from 20 government and private senior secondary schools in the Mashobra block participated in various sports competitions. On this occasion, the school management honored the chief guest and special guest with Himachali caps, shawls, and mementos.
In the results of sports competitions, Kufri got first place in volleyball and Mundaghat got second place. Mashobra got first place in Kabaddi and Baldeniya got second place. Ghaini got first place and Neen got second place in Kho-Kho. Baldeniya got first place and Mundaghat got second place in badminton. Baldeniya got first place and Kyarkoti got second place in Yoga. Kufri got first place and RPS Baldeniya got second place in Chess. Baldeniya School got first place in March Past.
In cultural competitions, RPS Baldeniya stood first and Janedghat second in folk dance. Koti stood first and Janedghat second in light music. Durgapur stood first and Janedghat second in classical singing. Koti stood first and MPS Mashobra second in group singing. MPS Mashobra stood first and Janedghat second in one-act play. Durgapur stood first and RPS Baldeniya second in speech competition. Baldeniya stood first and Koti second in instrumental music. MES Mashobra stood first and Koti second in Sanskrit Geetika, while Janedghat stood first and MES Mashobra second in Sanskrit Subhashitani.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Chief Guest Dr. Narendra Kaushik said that sports hold special importance in student life. Sports foster a sense of competition, hard work, discipline, and dedication, which helps children achieve their goals in life. He honored the winners and runners-up with trophies and wished them a bright future.
On this occasion, a large number of players including local Panchayat, Mahila Mandal, physical teachers from various schools, local school staff participated.
