Seven day NSS special residential camp begins at Chiyog School

A special residential camp of the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit began at the Government Senior Secondary School of Excellence, Chiyog. Thirty-three volunteers are participating in the seven-day camp.
District Council Tiali Ward member Neha Jagta attended the camp as the chief guest and inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Volunteers presented a welcome song, a National Service Scheme song, and a captivating cultural program, enhancing the event.
It’s worth noting that Neha Jagta, a former student of Cheong School, was a national-level wrestling and kabaddi player during her student days. In her address, she shared her student experiences with the volunteers. She emphasized that positive thinking, self-confidence, discipline, and the guidance of teachers are essential for success in life. She urged students to become self-reliant with a spirit of social service and to continuously pursue their life goals.
While presenting the outline of the seven-day camp, the school principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma appealed to the volunteers to make the camp successful by following discipline and rules.
Program in-charge Vijayalakshmi and Rakesh Rawat also highlighted the objectives of National Service Scheme and inspired the volunteers to discharge their responsibilities towards the society.
On this occasion, School Management Committee (SMC) Chairman Ramesh Verma, other SMC members, all the teachers and staff of the school were present.
