Chail – Meritorious students honoured at the annual function of Koti College

The annual prize distribution ceremony was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Degree College Chail-Koti on Wednesday. Baljeet, Chief General Manager of SJVNL, attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Ashish Negi, Senior Manager (HR), was present as the special guest. The program began with Saraswati Vandana by the college girls. Thereafter, the students enthralled the audience with their performances of Himachali Gidda, Western Dance, Pahadi Naati, and more.
Chief guest Baljeet, in his address, extended his best wishes to the event and encouraged the youth to stay away from drugs and engage in activities that are beneficial to their own development and that of the country. SJVNL will always provide all possible support to the college and the promotion of education. On this occasion, he distributed prizes to students participating in academic, student council, magazine editor, sports, cultural activities, and to the winners.
Earlier, the annual report was presented by Principal Dr. Deepshikha Bhardwaj, in which she drew the attention of the guests and students towards the achievements made by the college during the session 2025-26.
Former Principal Baldev Puri, PTA President Ramkrishna Sharma, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff of the college were present in the programme.
