Setting up CSD canteen extension counter in Nalagarh is essential to ensure greater convenience for ex-servicemen: Suresh Kashyap
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Suresh Kashyap has responded to the demand for the establishment of a CSD/ESM canteen extension counter in the Nalagarh area for the convenience of ex-servicemen and military families. He said that a large number of soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families reside in Nalagarh and the surrounding industrial area, who currently have to depend on distant locations for canteen facilities, causing them unnecessary hardship.
Suresh Kashyap stated that a proposal for the establishment of an ESM/CSD canteen extension counter in the Nalagarh area has already been submitted, and that HQ Army Training Command, Shimla, has also recognized the need as genuine and in the public interest. He stated that this facility is crucial for the welfare of the Army and veterans, and there should be no delay.
He said that the number of ex-servicemen is continuously increasing in Nalagarh area and it is very important to provide convenient canteen facilities for the daily needs of the military families working in the industrial area.
MP Suresh Kashyap urged the Ministry of Defence to issue necessary instructions for setting up a CSD/ESM canteen extension counter at Nalagarh, District Solan, giving priority to public interest and welfare of soldiers, so that ex-servicemen and their families can get relief.
He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has always been committed to the respect, facilities and welfare of soldiers and ex-servicemen and will continue to make every possible effort for their interests.
