On the occasion of 77th Republic Day , JP Nadda hoisted tricolor at his residence
Shimla, Former National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda hoisted the national flag at his residence in New Delhi on the auspicious occasion of the 77th Republic Day and extended his heartfelt greetings to the countrymen. On this occasion, he paid his respectful homage to the architects of the Constitution and the immortal martyrs of the freedom struggle, whose supreme sacrifice and struggle established India as a sovereign, united, and strong nation.
Union Minister Nadda said that Republic Day is not just a festival, but a symbol of India’s democratic consciousness, faith in the Constitution, and national unity. He said that the vision with which our Constitution’s founding fathers provided the country with a system of governance based on the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity remains the foundation of India’s progress even today.
Shri Nadda said that the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and the tireless efforts of the Constitution makers have given India a strong democratic structure, which has continuously enhanced India’s prestige in the world.
Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he said that today the country is moving forward with the resolve of a developed India. With the spirit of Antyodaya, the government’s goal is to ensure that no citizen is left behind in the journey of nation-building.
The Union Minister stated that social justice, inclusive growth, and bringing the benefits of development to the last mile are the BJP’s top priorities. He called on the countrymen to work together for the nation’s overall progress, unity, and integrity.

On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Republic Day, Bharatiya Janata Party State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Indians and the brothers and sisters of Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Bindal said that the Republic of India is the result of millions of sacrifices. For thousands of years, Indians fought tirelessly to achieve independence. Many brave sons smiled and faced the gallows, served life imprisonment, and endured countless tortures, only then did India become independent.
Paying homage to the framers of the Constitution, he said that all the scholars, including Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, provided India with a strong foundation for democracy. We bow to all those great men who, by drafting the Constitution, transformed the country into a strong republic.
The State BJP President said that today India’s democracy is one of the strongest in the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is rapidly developing. In 2014, India was ranked 10th-11th economically, whereas today, in 2026, India has become the world’s fourth economic superpower and is soon poised to become the third.
Dr. Bindal said that Prime Minister Modi has pledged to the countrymen a developed India by the year 2047, and the nation is steadily moving forward in that direction. The country is reaching new heights of development while preserving its cultural heritage.
He said that this year the country is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the creation of “Vande Mataram.” Thousands of martyrs sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence with the chant of “Vande Mataram.” Today, there is a need to carry forward that same spirit of patriotism. Also, remembering the 350th anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s supreme sacrifice strengthens the resolve to serve the nation.
Describing the specialties of Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Bindal said that Himachal Pradesh, the land of gods and heroes, possesses immense natural wealth. Himachal’s hardworking people, farmers, youth, women, and employees will work together to take the state to new heights of development. Himachal’s brave soldiers are constantly protecting the country by making sacrifices on the borders.
