Three players from Mashobra performed brilliantly in the national level competition
Three players from the Mashobra block recently performed exceptionally well in the 10th Sub-Junior National Rugby Championship held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Nandlal Sharma, Sports Incharge of the Mashobra Block, stated that three junior players from the Mashobra Block participated in this national competition: Samaira Verma, a 9th-grade student from MES Mashobra School, Manvi Sharma, a 9th-grade student from MPS Public School, Mashobra, and Aryan Kanwar, an 11th-grade student from Government Senior Secondary School, Mashobra. He explained that these three junior players were selected for the state-level rugby competition held in Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur, in December last year. He added that these three players have brought honor to the school and the Shimla district by participating in the national competition.
Nandlal Sharma said that rugby has also been included in the list of sports in Himachal Pradesh, due to which the players of Himachal Pradesh will get three percent reservation in government jobs.
