Fagu Theog Students Association Celebrates Cultural Evening at Gaiety

Shimla witnessed a vibrant celebration of culture and youth creativity as the Fagu–Theog Student Welfare Organization hosted the “Shobhala Theog” cultural evening at the historic Gaiety Theatre. The event was graced by Anirudh Singh as the chief guest, who praised the enthusiasm, talent and cultural pride displayed by the participants throughout the programme.

The cultural evening truly reflected the spirit of the Phagu–Theog region. Emerging local artists took to the stage with remarkable confidence, while school students brought the theatre alive with colourful cultural performances. Traditional hill dramas and folk presentations captivated the audience, showcasing the rich heritage and artistic depth of the region.

Addressing the gathering, Anirudh Singh congratulated the Fagu–Theog Student Welfare Organization for successfully organizing such an inspiring event. He said programmes like “Shobhala Theog” go beyond entertainment and play a vital role in strengthening social harmony. By connecting the younger generation with their roots, these initiatives help preserve and pass on the region’s cultural legacy.
