Meritorious students honored at Government Senior Secondary School Shargaon

The annual prize distribution ceremony at the Government Senior Secondary School, Shargaon, was held with great enthusiasm and dignity. Retired Principal of Sanskrit College, Ram Dutt Sharma, attended the event as chief guest, while Dr. Shivani Sharma, Principal of Government College, Pajouta, and Acting Block Development Officer (BDO), Rajgarh, Kuldeep, were present as special guests. Addressing the students, Chief Guest Ram Dutt Sharma stated that the primary objective of education is the all-round development of children. He urged them to embrace discipline, hard work, and moral values. The first edition of the school’s annual magazine, “Gyandeep,” was also formally released during the ceremony. The magazine’s Chief Editor, Dalip Verma, expressed his gratitude to the entire editorial board and school family for their support in publishing the magazine. During the program, colorful cultural performances by the students, including Naati, Bhangra, Giddha, and other dances, captivated the audience and created an atmosphere of excitement throughout the campus. Presenting the annual report, the school’s Principal, Sudhir Sharma, provided information about the school’s academic, sports, and co-curricular activities throughout the year, as well as its various achievements. On this occasion, students Aarohi and Vaibhavi, who participated in Doordarshan Himachal’s program, Janvi, who participated in the state-level volleyball competition, and students who excelled in academic and other activities, including Palak and Kartik, were honored with awards. Finally, Principal Sudhir Sharma expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers, students, and the school management committee for their support in making the program a success.
