A rally was organised in Junga to create awareness among the people on World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day was celebrated at the Industrial Training Institute, Junga. On this occasion, ITI trainees, carrying banners and slogans, took out a rally in the Junga market to make people aware about the prevention of AIDS and HIV. Thereafter, Dr. Garima, Medical Officer of Civil Hospital, Junga, presented a very important lecture on the harmful effects of HIV, methods of infection and preventive measures. She informed that on the occasion of World AIDS Day this year, the World Health Organization has kept the theme ‘Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response’ i.e., overcoming obstacles, transforming the AIDS response. This is something that everyone needs to think about.
Counselor Praveen Kumar and CHO Bhadech Poonam also gave detailed information to the trainees on this occasion about the infection and prevention of AIDS disease.
