Bilaspur Hospital Staff to Be Tracked Online: ‘Him Access App’ Brings Transparency to Duty Hours

The Regional Hospital in Bilaspur is tightening its rules to ensure staff accountability. In a major move, the hospital administration has decided that attendance for all doctors, officials, and employees will now be recorded digitally through the Him Access App.

Under this new system, staff must log in as soon as they enter the hospital. Their presence and location will be instantly updated to the Directorate, creating a transparent record of who is on duty and where. If any employee leaves the hospital premises during working hours, the app will mark them absent—and their salary will be deducted for that period.

So far, records of 19 doctors and several officials have already been uploaded, with the rest of the staff data being added quickly. The administration has set a target of December 1 to complete the process.

Hospital officials say the move comes after repeated complaints about staff absenteeism and lax work culture. By making attendance location-based and fully digital, the management hopes to improve staff availability, bring transparency, and ultimately provide patients with better medical care.

Medical Superintendent A.K. Singh confirmed, “Soon, attendance will be marked through the Him Access App, and staff locations will be monitored directly by the Directorate. By December 1, all records will be updated.”
