The Kasumpti Assembly constituency has been neglected for three years : BJP

BJP leader and former vice-president of Saksham Gudiya Board, Rupa Sharma, former president of Kasumpti BJP Mandal, Jitendra Bhotka, Devraj Kashyap, Shashank Atri, Kamal Thakur, Bhupendra Kanwar and Pawan Sharma, in a joint statement issued on Saturday, said that while on one hand the CM is talking about the treasury being empty, on the other hand, as the Panchayat elections are approaching, Kasumpti MLA and Cabinet Minister Anirudh Singh is misleading the people by making announcements worth lakhs. They say that after becoming a minister, Anirudh Singh never took care of the Kasumpti elections in the last three years and as the Panchayat elections are approaching, the minister has started holding corner meetings in the assembly’s Panchayats for the last one month.
Rupa Sharma and Jitendra Bhotka questioned Aniruddh Singh about the reasons why the announcements made by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu during the inauguration of Koti College last year have remained unfulfilled even after a year. They say that the Chief Minister’s announcement to start B.Ed. classes at Degree College Koti this semester has not been fulfilled, dashing the hopes of the youth of the Junga region. Similarly, announcements worth crores of rupees for opening a police outpost in Koti and a Patwar Circle in Satlai, providing ten beds at CHC Koti, and providing National Ambulance Service at Civil Hospital Junga, along with several roads, have all proved to be empty promises.
He says that after becoming a minister, not a single brick has been laid in the name of development in the Kasupti constituency in the last three years. Although the Congress party has dominated the Kasupti constituency for the last 25 years, the Kasupti assembly constituency is still the most backward constituency in the entire state in terms of development and education. Science classes have not been started in Degree College Koti for the last ten years and students interested in science have to go to Shimla or Solan. Not only this, no major project has been approved in the Kasupti assembly constituency during the Congress government.
