Aryan Pandey will showcase his talent in the national level judo competition

Aryan Pandey, a student of Government Senior Secondary School, Balg, brought laurels to the school and the region by winning the first position in the 45 kg weight category and Suresh, another student of the school, won the bronze medal in the 60 kg weight category in the recently concluded Under-19 State Judo Competition in Sundernagar. Principal Ramesh Chand Sharma said that five students of this school participated in the Judo competition, in which two students performed well.
He informed that Aryan Pandey defeated Sports Hostel Una in the hostel trials held for the national level competition and was selected for the national level Judo competition. Suresh performed well in the trials held in the under-17 category and secured second place. The Principal congratulated DPE Surendra Singh Thakur on this achievement of both the students, who, after seeing the talent of the children, has honed their skills meticulously. All the teachers and parents of the school congratulated all the participants including Aryan Pandey for their hard work and achievement and wished them good performance in the future. It is worth noting that this year eight students from Government Senior Secondary School Balg have participated in the state level sports competition, which is a matter of pride.
