Tribute to Indira Gandhi, the living symbol of Congress ideology and Sardar Patel, the architect of national unity: Rajiv Rana

State Congress Committee Secretary and State Chairman of Unorganised Workers Congress (KKC) Rajiv Rana today paid heartfelt tributes to two great personalities of the nation on the occasion of the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi and the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Rajiv Rana said that Mrs. Indira Gandhi was an indomitable force in Indian politics, who, through her strong leadership, decisive policies, and fearless personality, led India on the path to self-reliance and glory. Historic decisions such as victory in the 1971 war, the nationalization of banks, and the Green Revolution made her the “Iron Lady” of the masses.

He said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel gave a new identity to India’s unity and integrity through the unification of princely states after independence. His contribution will remain immortal in Indian history.

Rajiv Rana said that both the leaders taught through their lives that national interest is paramount and serving the country is the true religion.
