Edward’s Concludes 12th Inter-School Bishop Gilbert Rego Football, Brother Steinmeyer Basketball and Brother Walsh Table Tennis Tournaments 2025
A thrilling display of talent, teamwork and sportsmanship marked the conclusion of the Inter-School Sports Tournaments 2025 at St. Edward’s School, Shimla. Held from October 14 to 17, the event featured the Bishop Gilbert Rego Football, Brother Steinmeyer Basketball and Brother Walsh Table Tennis tournaments, bringing together six schools in spirited competition.
The tournaments were inaugurated by the School Principal, Rev. Fr. Anil Sequeira. The Brother Walsh Table Tennis Tournament was a new addition to the series.
In a thrilling finale, St. Edward’s School emerged victorious in football, while Roots Country School, Baghi, shone in basketball. Football winners were felicitated by Mr. Gaurav Gupta, basketball champions by Mr. Umesh Akre, and table tennis winners by Fr. Robert, for their dedication and sportsmanship.
The tournaments celebrated not just victories but also discipline, dedication and camaraderie, leaving lasting memories for all participants and fostering healthy competition among the schools.
