From Hanoi to Himachal: A New Chapter in Eco-Friendly Industrial Partnership

In a bid to strengthen global ties and accelerate sustainable growth, Himachal Pradesh is reaching out to Vietnamese businesses with open arms — and open opportunities. A high-level delegation led by Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan recently met with top Vietnamese industry leaders at the Embassy of India in Hanoi, spotlighting sectors like healthcare, electric mobility, pharmaceuticals, and wellness.

The goal? To spark industrial collaboration that benefits both economies.

“This interaction opens avenues for Vietnamese enterprises to explore promising investment opportunities in Himachal Pradesh — a state with rich resources and a skilled workforce,” said Tako Ajungla Jamir, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy.

Additional Chief Secretary R.D. Nazeem showcased Himachal’s investor-friendly infrastructure and promised a streamlined single-window clearance system. He emphasized that both India and Vietnam share a bold vision: achieving developed nation status by 2045–47 — and industrial partnerships will be key.

Minister Chauhan reaffirmed Himachal’s commitment to green industrialisation and invited Vietnamese firms to upcoming Reverse Buyer–Seller Meets (RBSMs), where business meets opportunity.

With major Vietnamese players like VAMI, VCCI, INCHAM Hanoi, T&T Group, Sovico Group, and Vietjet Air joining the conversation, the future looks bright — and collaborative.
