Junior Annual Day Celebration at Auckland House School for Girls, Shimla
Auckland House School for Girls, Shimla, celebrated its Junior Section Cultural Day with great enthusiasm and excitement. The chief guest of the event was Ms. Oshin Sharma, HPAS, SDM, Shimla Urban, who praised the confidence and creativity of the young students.
The program began with the hymn “Here I Am to Worship” performed by Form I students, which filled the atmosphere with spirituality. This was followed by a colorful play, “The Toy Shop,” presented by Form II students, which captivated everyone.
Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Forms I and II students showcased their talents through a variety of songs, dances, and theatrical performances. Performances such as “Aaya Wo Lalariya,” “I’m So Happy,” “Believer,” “Punjabi Dance,” “Chun Chun Karti Aayi Chidiya,” “My Bestie,” and “Gujarati Dance” captivated the audience.
Also, action songs like “Kookaburra” and performances like “Golden Melodies” and “Rajasthani Dance” highlighted the diversity of Indian culture.
The Annual Report was also presented in the programme which was presented by the school Principal Mrs. Smarakhi Samantharay.
The program concluded with the National Anthem, which instilled a sense of patriotism and unity in everyone. Parents, teachers, and guests praised the efforts of the children and teachers, calling it a memorable cultural festival.
