Centre sent 7 ministers to Himachal to visit disaster affected districts: Payal
BJP State General Secretary Payal Vaidya said that the Central Government under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved assistance of more than Rs 1,500 crore for the disaster affected areas of Himachal Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party Himachal Pradesh unit heartily welcomes this decision, which will establish rehabilitation in the disaster affected areas and speed up the relief work in the affected areas of the state. There has been heavy damage in Chamba, Mandi and Kullu districts of Himachal Pradesh, which is being closely monitored by the Central Government.
As we all know, normal life has been badly affected due to the terrible disaster in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. This natural disaster has caused heavy damage to crops and property and loss of life and property. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has visited Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and took stock of the situation. All the agencies of the government including NDRF and all the workers of Bharatiya Janata Party are engaged in relief and rehabilitation work with full dedication at this time. The central government has announced an interim amount of Rs 1,500 crore to Himachal Pradesh for assistance to the disaster affected areas and Rs 1,600 crore for Punjab in addition to the Rs 12000 crore already present in the disaster relief fund of Punjab.
As per the instructions of Honorable National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji, the BJP organization and the ministers of the Central Government have to actively cooperate in the service works. In this sequence, the State Ministers of the Central Government are expected to ensure their participation in the service works being carried out at the tehsil level in the flood-affected states on any two days from 12 September 2025 to 15 September 2025.
He said that apart from this, various Union Ministers are scheduled to visit Himachal Pradesh between 12-16 September 2025,

The Himachal tour of Union Minister of State Savitri Thakur and Union Minister of State Shantanu Thakur has started on 12 September 2025.
