Heavy rain and landslide cause devastation in Darbhog Panchayat
Residential houses, cowsheds, crops and fields of people have been damaged due to heavy rains and landslides in Darbhog Panchayat of Mashobra Block. Darbhog Panchayat Pradhan Tara Tanu Bhardwaj, Deputy Pradhan Joginder Thakur and Ward Member Krishna Nand after visiting all the wards of the Panchayat said that the cowshed and house of Ramswaroop and Prem Singh of Kag village of the Panchayat have been damaged. Residential houses of Dhyan Singh and Ramesh Kumar of Kuftu village have come under threat due to landslide. Similarly, residential houses of Sunil, Mohan Singh, Naresh and Dayanand of Kuftu village, Prabhudayal of Baghna, Sher Singh of Dumher, Mandeep of Kotidhar, Kanhaiya Lal of Beenchad village are also in danger. They said that the cowshed of Bhupendra of Kag village has been damaged in the landslide. While the cowsheds and houses of many farmers including Indrajit and Sumitra Devi of Khil Baila, Baldev Singh of Kyari village have been damaged due to heavy rains. They said that all the connectivity of the Panchayat has been lost. Similarly, dead bodies are lying at many places on the main road from Bharadia to Darbhog.
