Due to heavy rain and landslide, life in Junga tehsil is disrupted
Due to heavy rains and landslides, life in Junga tehsil has been disrupted. Many houses and cow sheds are in danger. Tehsildar Junga Narayan Singh Verma said that Joginder Singh’s house in village Shaleel of Balog Panchayat has suffered a lot of damage. His house has been evacuated and arrangements have been made for his family’s stay in the village. The Tehsildar said that an amount of ten thousand rupees has been provided to Joginder Singh as immediate relief.
The Tehsildar informed that due to heavy rains, many houses in the tehsil have come under threat, some of which have been evacuated and arrangements for the stay of the concerned families have been made at the local level. He informed that the houses which have been partially damaged include the houses of Kishori Lal of Peeran, Bali Ram of Humri Koti village, Mool Chand of Karewadi Koti, Manohar Singh of Padthana, Madan of Dublu village, Phool Chand of Chabit village, Indra Singh of Thund and Ishwar Das of Shaloth village. The Tehsildar informed that instructions have been given to the rural revenue officers working in all the Patwar circles under Tehsil Junga to send the report of the assessment of the damage immediately so that relief and rescue operations can be conducted.
