Kahlon emphasizes on citizen friendly digital technology

The Department of Digital Technologies and Governance (DT&G), Government of Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), organised a one day workshop on “Awareness and Sensitization on User Experience and Design Systems” at IT Bhawan, Shimla.

The workshop was inaugurated by Secretary (DT&G) Rakhil Kahlon, who  emphasized the critical role of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design in ensuring inclusive, efficient, and citizen-friendly digital service delivery.

Director (DT&G) Dr. Nipun Jindal chaired the workshop and stressed upon the need  to adopt best UX/UI practices across digital platforms to empower citizens to access services on their own and help bridge the digital divide. 

Around 80 officers from various government departments participated in the workshop.
