PM Modi works from resolve to accomplishment, Congress works from resolve to deception: Tandon
Bharatiya Janata Party organized a professional meet at Getty Theater which was presided over by BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal. State Co-Incharge Sanjay Tandon was present as the keynote speaker in this program, along with him Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, Program Convener Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sikander Kumar, former Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, State Secretary Sanjay Thakur, candidate Sanjay Sood, Ravi Mehta, District President Keshav Chauhan and former District President Prem Thakur were present.
BJP State Media Incharge Karan Nanda said that an exhibition was organized by the BJP State on the Ridge ground which had a complete description of the achievements of the Central Government in the last 11 years and this exhibition was inaugurated by all the BJP leaders by cutting the ribbon.
Addressing the program, State Co-incharge Sanjay Tandon said that Sankalp se Siddhi is not just a phrase but a true resolution which has been fulfilled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Taking a jibe at the Congress party, he said that during the elections, the Congress party had pledged to give Rs. 1500 to every woman of Himachal Pradesh but it has not been fulfilled yet, the Congress party believes in deception from resolution.
Prime Minister Modi had pledged that senior citizens above the age of 70 years will be given a health cover of Rs 5 lakh per year and today that pledge has been fulfilled when everyone above the age of 70 years has been linked with Ayushman Bharat. Modi had pledged Antyodaya and he has done that too, today the citizens who have gone abroad want to come back to India because they also get all the facilities in India for which they used to go abroad.
Tandon compared the tenure of the Congress government with that of the Bharatiya Janata Party and said that today India is the third largest economy in the world whereas during the Congress rule, India was at the 11th position. In these 11 years, electricity has been provided to 18000 villages in India, earlier 1 GB data was available for Rs 900 in the country, today the same data is available for Rs 3, earlier India used to ask for vaccines from other countries and India used to get expired vaccines but today during the time of Covid, we have seen that India makes vaccines and also sends them to other countries. Earlier there used to be 8 crore bank accounts in the country, today there are 52 crore bank accounts, earlier the gender ratio of the country used to be 870 to 950, today it is 1020. During the tenure of the Congress government, India was called the country of snake charmers, India’s titles in the Guinness Book of World Records were known for long nails and moustaches, today it is known for Atal Tunnel, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s statue, Chenab Railway Bridge and Yoga Day.
During the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, people have been empowered. Facilities like DigiLocker and Direct Benefit Transfer have empowered people. Congress used to say that MNREGA will be closed but the Prime Minister has more than doubled the benefits being received in MNREGA through DBT and corruption has also been eradicated. During the time of Congress, Rs 1000 per person was received under MNREGA and Rs 200 was added, today the entire amount is being received.
Addressing the program, BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is strong as well as safe. After the independence in 1947, India was attacked in 1948 and we lost Kashmir. In 1962, to hide our weakness, we gave it to Tibet and in the 1962 war our soldiers did not even have shoes and guns and we lost 40,000 square feet of land. After this, the Congress party lied that not even a blade of grass could grow on the land that we had taken.
Faraz, India has changed. Today we have become the largest producer in the field of defence. We are making S400, Brahmos, Rafale and many other guns and are also selling them to other countries. If the morale of service was raised in the country, it was first done by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee when India was made a nuclear power. Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi has responded to terrorism at every level. Operation Sindoor is a living example of this.
On this occasion, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that we have got a strong leadership at the Centre which has taken the country forward. The Central Government abolished triple talaq, Section 370, 35A, implemented women reservation, gave free ration to 81 crore people of the country, gave more than 3 crore houses, provided tap water to every house under Jal Jeevan Mission, gave Ayushman Bharat, this was possible only because today the country has a strong decision-making government and a government that takes decisive decisions. The opposition people had only one goal in the Lok Sabha elections that is to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire opposition united but the result was that the people of the country made Prime Minister Modi the Prime Minister for the third time.
