Children took out a rally in Peeran and gave the message of environmental protection

On World Environment Day, children took out an awareness rally in Government Senior Secondary School Peeran of Mashambra Block and gave the message of environmental protection. During this, children were also administered the oath of environmental protection. On this occasion, medicinal plants were also planted in the school premises under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam scheme. On this occasion, painting, slogan and speech competition on environment were organized. In which Sneha got first place in speech competition, Diya got second and Anjali got third place. Similarly, in poster making, Kritika got first, Mehak got second and Trisha and Dhriti got third place. In slogan writing, Angel Thakur got first, Avanya and Parul got second and third place respectively.
While presiding over the programme, Acting Principal Devinda Chauhan said that environmental conservation is a challenging issue at present. To overcome this challenge, everyone will have to make collective efforts. She said that the increasing threat of global warming is an indication that if the environment is not saved in time, the coming times will be more dangerous. She said that continuous efforts should be made to increase the presence of trees in forests. The Principal expressed her gratitude to forest worker Khayali Ram for giving the saplings.
Pooja Sarta, in-charge of Anchal Eco Club, also gave detailed information to the children about environmental conservation.
Teachers Sheela Sharma, Sharda Verma, Balwinder Thakur, Manoj Sharma, Sunil Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Nisha Thakur etc. played an important role in making this program successful.
