School children took out an environmental rally in Dhali Bagda

Various programs were organized on World Environment Day at Government High School, Dhali in Junga Tehsil. On this occasion, children took out an awareness rally from Dhali Bagda to Shilli and gave the message of environmental protection. The program was presided over by Principal Rakesh Verma. During this, children were also administered the oath of environmental protection.
Rakesh Verma said in his address that environmental conservation is a challenging issue at present. To overcome this challenge, everyone will have to make collective efforts. He said that the increasing threat of global warming is an indication that if the environment is not saved in time, the coming times will be more dangerous. He said that continuous efforts should be made to increase the presence of trees in forests.
Poonam, in-charge of Green Shine Eco Club, said that after the rally, various types of competitions were also organized among the children. In which, apart from slogan writing, painting, speech and poetry reading, recreational games were also organized. During this, the children also planted saplings in the school premises. The headmaster expressed his gratitude to forest worker Khayali Ram for giving the saplings.
Teachers Poonam, Anju Bedi, Anil Sharma, Satyanand Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Hemavathi Thakur, Shivani Sharma, Premlata etc. played an important role in making this program successful.
