CM & Dy CM mourns demise of Lance Naik Manish Thakur
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep grief over the demise of Indian Army soldier Lance Naik Manish Thakur. He was a resident of Baraban village in Nahan, Sirmaur district, and was serving in the Dogra Regiment.
The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and said that the state government stands firmly with them in this difficult time and will provide all possible assistance.
He prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has expressed deep condolences on the martyrdom of Lance Naik Manish Thakur in a landslide while performing his duty in Sikkim.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that martyr Manish Thakur sacrificed his life for the service of the country and his sacrifice would be remembered forever. Expressing deep condolences to the bereaved family, Shri Agnihotri said that the state government stands with them in this difficult time and every possible help will be provided.
