A general meeting was organised at Government Excellent Senior Secondary School, Chiyog on Wednesday to discuss various problems of the school. School Management Committee members (SMC), teachers and a large number of parents participated in it.
While presiding over the meeting, Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma presented the details of last year’s income and expenditure to the parents and student-oriented schemes for the academic session 2025-26 were presented to everyone. In the meeting, there was an in-depth discussion on raising the matter before the government for funds for construction of a new building in the school and making all the classes as smart classes to improve studies. The Principal urged the parents to keep their children away from mobile phones. He told that in the present scenario, children have become addicted to mobile phones, which is making the future of children dark.
In the meeting, SMC President Ramesh Verma Gandhi and Education Society President Layak Ram Chandel said that two members Sunita Sharma and Bihari Lal Sharma were included in the vacant posts in SMC. Parents expressed their gratitude to the Principal and teachers for the good results of the school this year. In the meeting, SMC members and parents expressed their views about the problems related to the school.
