Cheekhar School wins general knowledge competition
With the aim of inculcating a sense of competition in children, competitions like painting, speech and general knowledge quiz were organized yesterday courtesy of Keonthal Academy Koti. 220 children from various schools of Keonthal area participated in it. The team of Cheekhar School secured first place in the general knowledge and quiz competition, while Sujen Thakur secured first place in the speech competition and Dhruv Sharma and Smriti Thakur, Aarav Ananya secured first place in the general knowledge solo quiz.
Well known businessman Gopal Sharma attended the program as the chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners and runners-up. Former Pradhan Baldev Puri and Youth Congress Kusumpti President Narendra Sharma were present as special guests in the program. Gopal Sharma said in his address that such programs prove to be very useful in bringing out the hidden talents of the rural environment. He congratulated the director of Keonthal Academy for organizing this event.
Founders of Keonthal Academy Bunty Thakur and Rajesh Sharma said that the main purpose of organizing this competition is to provide a platform to the youth and enhance their talent. He said that in the near future also such competitions will be organized by the academy.
