Naresh Chauhan Hits Out at BJP, Dismisses Allegations Against Congress Government
Naresh Chauhan, Chief Media Advisor, sharply criticized the BJP today, stating that the unrest within BJP leaders reveals their internal discord. He alleged that this desperation drives BJP leaders to level baseless and factually incorrect accusations against the Congress government. Chauhan highlighted the grand success of the two-year celebration of the Congress government’s tenure in Bilaspur, which saw participation from people across the state. He claimed that witnessing the massive turnout has left the BJP rattled, shaking its foundations.
Chauhan further accused the BJP of being obsessed with bringing down the Congress government at any cost, resorting to new tactics daily. However, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Congress government remains strong and unshakable, he asserted.
He also criticized the BJP’s previous government, claiming their flagship “Jan Manch” program had turned into a “flag-waving show” where ministers intimidated officials. Instead of solving people’s issues, Chauhan said the program mocked their sentiments and led to excessive wastage of public funds. In contrast, he praised CM Sukhu for focusing on genuine problem-solving by reaching out directly to the people and addressing their grievances. He cited examples of the massive public gatherings witnessed during CM Sukhu’s visits to Dodra Kwar in Rohru and Kupvi in Chopal, creating a festive-like atmosphere.
Chauhan reassured that the Congress government, elected by the people, will complete its five-year term and fulfill all guarantees and promises made during the elections. He emphasized that the public is satisfied with the government’s performance, with no grievances against it. In contrast, he claimed, BJP leaders are disgruntled and resort to irrelevant statements to remain politically relevant. He concluded by affirming CM Sukhu’s vision of transforming Himachal Pradesh into a self-reliant state by 2027, driven by relentless efforts toward this goal.
