On September 25, BJP will make 2 lakh members in the state: Bihari

BJP State General Secretary and State Convener of Membership Campaign Bihari Lal Sharma said that till now the number of primary membership of BJP in Himachal Pradesh has reached 5 lakh 7 thousand 525. This is a very strong figure from the point of view of membership campaign, BJP is continuously getting public support in the state through membership campaign. In reality, the public is troubled by the policies of Congress government, false promises, economic mismanagement, corruption, inflation, negative management of law and order.

He said that 24368 primary members have been made in Sulha assembly constituency and 22189 in Gagret. Both these assembly constituencies are doing excellent work.

Bihari Lal, citing the upcoming plans of BJP, said that on 25 September, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, BJP will make 2 lakh primary members in the entire state in a single day. With this, the membership figure of BJP will reach 8 lakh on 25 September.

He said that in the second phase of the membership campaign, BJP’s 7 fronts, 18 cells, BJP will give a boost to the membership campaign by strengthening the basic organization of the state, district, division. This phase will be run from October 1 to October 15 in which the youth, women, scheduled caste, tribe, minority, OBC fronts will put in their full strength to enroll 8 lakh members. With this, the target of 16 lakh of BJP’s state membership mega campaign will be achieved.

He said that BJP works on the basic principle of social harmony. The first Dalit Speaker of Lok Sabha was made in the BJP government of Bharat Ratna Atal Ji. Today, out of 71 ministers of BJP, 10 are Dalit brothers, 27 ministers are from backward class and 5 ministers are tribal brothers. The BJP government has done the work of bringing Dalits, backward and tribals into the mainstream. Out of 4 crore houses built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 1 crore 77 lakh houses have been given to Dalit and tribal brothers. Dalit brothers and sisters are the biggest beneficiaries of central welfare schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Expressing happiness over the enthusiastic participation of people in the BJP membership campaign, he urged everyone to convey this message to everyone and called upon the workers to take a pledge that no person from this area should be deprived of joining BJP.

On this occasion, Bihari Lal Sharma also participated in a membership campaign programme organised by Shimla Mandal.
