Central Government stands with the people of Himachal and is committed to provide all possible assistance: Nadda
Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic news of the devastating loss and disruption of normal life due to cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh. Mr. Nadda, while talking to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on phone, enquired about the dire circumstances of this natural disaster and assured all possible help on behalf of the respected Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He assured to stand with the people of Himachal Pradesh in this crisis and help them in every possible way.
Mr Nadda said that the Central Government stands with the people of Himachal Pradesh and is committed to provide all possible assistance to them in this difficult time. Mr Jagat Prakash Nadda also spoke to former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Mr Jai Ram Thakur and BJP State President Mr Rajiv Bindal and directed all BJP workers to immediately engage in relief work.
The Hon’ble National President said that BJP workers are always ready to help people in times of crisis and even at this time they are standing with the people of Himachal Pradesh. A BJP team will be sent to Himachal Pradesh to assess the damage caused by the cloudburst and to expedite relief operations, which will work in collaboration with the state government and ensure that the affected people get immediate help. Shri Nadda has appealed to the people of Himachal Pradesh to unite and work together in this difficult time. Last year also, during the disaster in Himachal, Shri Nadda had spoken to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and provided assistance to the state by the Modi government. Shri Nadda said that the Modi government and the Bharatiya Janata Party will work together to overcome this crisis situation and provide assistance to restore normal life.
