Two hundred plants of different species were planted in Khadkidhar

 A forest festival was organized at Khadkidhar near Junga on Sunday under the joint aegis of Junga Panchayat, village organization and local Mahila Mandal. Junga Panchayat Pradhan Bansilal Kashyap inaugurated the forest festival by planting a deodar tree. On this occasion, women of the village organization and self-help group planted more than two hundred plants of different species. Medicinal plants like deodar, ban, mahtoot, guava, date palm, amla, kachnar, etc. were planted.
While talking to the people present, Pradhan Bansi Lal Kashyap said that every person should plant trees to maintain the balance of the environment. He said that human life on earth cannot be imagined without forests. Due to excessive cutting of trees, the environment is becoming unbalanced day by day, which is a matter of concern and contemplation for every human being. He urged all women and youth to compulsorily plant trees on the vacant land around them and spread this message to every house.
