Anti-people decisions are the achievements of the government: Bindal
BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal while addressing a press conference in Una said that if the Congress government has become powerful then it should show it by serving the people and not by snatching away their rights.
The Congress party has taken the state 10 years back in 18 months since its formation. The Congress has not been able to do a single developmental work in Himachal. We repeatedly ask their leaders but the Congress leaders remain silent on the issue of development.
Congress has only done the work of enjoying the pleasures of power. Bindal raised the question on the government that is this a government which benefits friends? Is this a government of Congress of friends and by friends?
Bindal said that only closure closure work has been done in this government. More than 1500 institutions closed, 350 schools closed, 800 schools merged, 125 power units closed, Sahara Yojana, Him Care closed. If we start counting the schemes, then a big list of schemes to be closed will come before the public.
He said that the big thing is that the government is counting all these anti-people decisions as its achievements.
Bindal attacked the government and said that this government has increased the burden on the public by increasing the cost of diesel and petrol. The burden of 25000 crores per year has increased on the public only through petrol and diesel. This Congress government has only looted the interests of the public. The government had made a lot of noise about providing 300 units of free electricity in the state for a long time, but after that the government snatched away even the 125 units given by Jairam Thakur from the public.
He said that Congress has suffered a huge defeat in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and by-elections but it is trying to set a wrong narrative of victory. Note that Congress lost the Rajya Sabha elections despite having a majority. Anurag Thakur got a big victory in Hamirpur parliamentary constituency and the Chief Minister also lost his assembly seat.
